ICE SAS participates to the Ringo project of RTE!

You are here

This event will be an opportunity to present our solutions dedicated to the energy transition and to engage with industry stakeholders on the technical and operational challenges related to electrical networks.

A warm thank you to all visitors, clients, partners and industry experts who joined us at the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025. Your interest, questions and shared projects made this edition truly impactful for our team.

For over five decades, the 7000 CEE range has embodied ICE SAS’s technological excellence in the service of the nuclear industry.

We are proud to announce the renewal of our Tractebel nuclear certification and the achievement of our KHNP (Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) nuclear certification.

ICE SAS will be present at the WNE (World Nuclear Exhibition) which will take place from November 04 to 06, 2025, in Paris Nord Villepinte, France.

ICE SAS participates to the Ringo project of RTE!

ICE SAS is proud to participate in the Ringo project, an electricity storage experiment initiated by RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Électricité) and its partner Nidec ASI in Côte-d'Or.

Implementation of a communicating line section according to the IEC 61850 R#SPACE data model.

The Ringo “virtual line”, designed by RTE, consists of a simultaneous battery storage-retrieval system at a point on the grid, where lines are congested and absorb a large proportion of variable renewable energies.

The tested batteries have a storage capacity of 12MW/4MWh, equivalent to the output of five wind turbines or the consumption of 10,000 households. The experiment will take place over three years (from 2020 to 2023).
