The emergence of new locomotives has highlighted disturbances of the electrical supply of the rail network. These disturbances are observed in areas of traffic or parking of locomotives involving their concentration. Recordings in the actual situation highlight the pumping phenomena. In the same way as it appeared, this pumping disappears spontaneously.

DPR800 has been specially designed to detect this type of phenomenon. Its operation is not sensitive to temporary phenomena or to the characteristics of the rolling stock.
